MIXING & MASTERING
MIXING
Mixing is the process of achieving the perfect balance between each individual track within your song. I will use my 14 years of experience to EQ, add effects and make edits where I think it's necessary so that everything sits nicely and gels as one fluid piece. I will keep in contact with you throughout the whole process, sharing WAV files back and forth and making adjustments until you are completely satisfied.
STEM MIXING
If your song has already been partially mixed but you feel it needs that last touch before it is mastered, then this could be the right option for you. I don't have as much flexibility as when I mix from scratch but it can be perfect if you're already happy with the general sound and just want me to tie everything together better. You send me grouped tracks ( Drums, Guitars, Vocals ) with your effects already applied and I will mix them to a Final Stereo Master.
THE PROCESS
You send me your audio files via email. I will then send multiple WAV's back and forth to you, making the adjustments you request until you are satisfied with the results. Each quote includes 3 mixes per song. Contact me and we can start discussing what I require from you in more detail!
mastering

Mastering is the final touch required to achieve professional sounding tracks. Applying the "magic glue" that really cements the music together, giving it extra clarity, punch and volume to match industry standard. my masters are custom tailored to each song to give it what it needs. utilising techniques such as : eq, multi-band compression, stereo widening, limiting and so on.
